Participatory
projects

How can the conditions for a shared experience be created without determining its form or meaning in advance?

These projects bring together performance, attention, relationships and contextual creation. They do not seek a therapeutic effect: they open spaces in which gestures, materials, places and people participate in what emerges.

Participatory performance · Association T.C.A.

Voix_Moi

A situation without a pre-established protocol in which voices, bodies and presence become the materials of a shared experience.

People supported by the association and professionals meet in the same space, facing the unknown. The artist initiates a situation without determining the forms that must appear. The project makes visible a central tension within the practice: guiding and triggering while allowing each person to appropriate the experience.

Performative installation · Université Bordeaux Montaigne

Cartographie des liens

An unpredictable map takes shape through gestures, movements and threads brought into relation.

The installation does not illustrate pre-existing connections: it allows them to take form. Each gesture transforms the whole and inscribes a shared experience in space. A future extension is envisaged as a collective tapestry using the Arraiolos stitch.

Collaborative workshop · imprint, rubbing, matter

Présences et traces

Becoming attentive to surfaces, marks and discreet presences that compose a place.

Developed with other artists, this workshop uses clay, paper, fabric and pastel to record traces from floors, walls and objects. Writing is not limited to the act of writing: it becomes an architecture of meaning—visual, embodied and contextual.

Ordinary Matters

Revealing the value, memory and relational capacity of materials and objects that are usually overlooked.

Conceived for development with a partner organisation, the project brings supported participants and professionals into the same creative process. It seeks to reduce role asymmetries without erasing differences in situation. The artist creates conditions for co-emergence rather than imposing a final form.

Position of the artist-facilitator

Initiating without
imposing

The artist acts as an initiator, guide and catalyst. She proposes a framework precise enough to make the experience possible, yet open enough for people, materials and context to shift its course.

From the first explorations onward, visual decisions become shared: writing, objects, images, collage, embroidery, sewing, knitting, movement or sound can take part in the collective construction of meaning.
